When the old man called on him to play chess, Riku rejected the idea because of his hurt hand--but several other people came to play. One of them was Hideyoshi. While he can applaud his skills in chess, Riku isn't so sure he's fond of his conversation habits. Who would like some weird game named Pocket Monsters? Laaaaame. Even so, they have a game on one day, and Riku intends to win.
